dubitante I love this Kollektiv, because … of what their music does to me. That's first. Makes me dance, even sitting down. Then it can be listened to, closely, and keeps coming up with little surprises, I love those. And then I can put it own and paint, loose myself in painting while in that flow of music… all that in one artist - or two - is rare and wonderful.

In November 2010, we released Kollektiv Turmstrasse’s "Rebellion der Träumer“ - a timeless album with a major impact on both the artists and on us, the label. It was a big success in every direction and even now after 10 years, the album still is a milestone. Reason enough for us to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the two German northener's debut album both with a long awaited repress of the double vinyl, as well as a fresh round of remixes.

The repress comes in three versions: A regular repress in black vinyl, a limited version in red vinyl and a third version featuring something very unique. We asked the legendary German illustrator duo Bringmann & Kopetzki, mostly known for their comics Hotze (Groove Mag) and Wild Life (Faze Mag), to "remix" the artwork. This very limited edition will be available exclusively on the Connaisseur Bandcamp page.

Next to this already rather impressive package, you can expect 9 new remixes which will be released in three different parts over the course of several weeks.

This release includes as bonus title the so far unreleased "Endlos".

Weisemann's best output to date. Beautifully crafted downtempo, with great attention to sound design. I wouldn't call it experimental, just very refined. I don't understand some of the choices of movie dialogue samples ("you're the jew hunter" at the beginning of In The Valley Of Elah really bugs me), but overall the vibe is really unique and touches me deeply. 8/10 naturarum
